The reserve is accessed by road from the A1133 down Cottage lane just to the north of the railway crossing near Langford Village. There is small car park at the end of the road. Dogs are allowed on the public footpaths that run around the edges of the site but not within the actual reserve itself. There are no toilets on site. Phase 3 of the site is partly viewable from National Cycle route 64, which runs past the entrance to the reserve.
