Descripción
Beautiful views and plenty of places to explore in a relatively small area, including the pier, rockpools, and beach. Parking and places to eat also in abundance. Huge noisy colony of Gaviota Tridáctila breed underneath the pier in late summer, allowing for very close and intimate views of chicks and adults with little disturbance. In summer, this is a reliable place to see Gaviota Cabecinegra, often side by side with Gaviota Reidora. Through winter, flocks of Correlimos Tridáctilo, Ostrero Euroasiático, and Gaviota argéntea europea can be seen regularly, along with Cormorán Grande, Gavión Atlántico, and Gaviota sombría. Colimbo Chico have also been reported here.

Parking available throughout Mumbles within walking distnace, and some limited parking available right next to the pier itself. Recommend parking in the 'Big Apple Car Park' on the clifftop above the pier for great views. Cycling is common, including the use of the Swansea Santander hire bikes.
