Mytholmroyd is a village in the Upper Calder Valley. Located on the River Calder in a rural setting surrounded by hills and mixed woodland. The river is a very good place to see Mirlo-acuático Europeo. Other birds that can be spotted in and around the village and along the river are Graja, Gaviota Reidora, Arrendajo Euroasiático, Mito Común, Lavandera Cascadeña and Lavandera Blanca.
