Descripción
Oronsay is a remote island that is cut off by tide, that gives a real sense of isolation. Range of habitat including farmland managed for Guión de Codornices, islands and skerries with good numbers of terns, and internationally important area for wintering Barnacla Cariblanca.

Accesso
Access from the Isle of Colonsay (see separate entry on Birdingplaces) via The Stand possible only at low tide (see link to tides table below). Information on safe crossing times can be obtained at the post office in Scalasaig.
