In Winter, hunting Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental over the reeds is a common sight, along with waterfowl on the pools, Lechuza Común hunting over the grassy areas, some increasingly spectacular murmaerations of Estornino Pinto and with the chance of Bigotudo. Year round there are a number of way marked trails to follow through the reserve. Summer brings Alcotán Europeo and Cetia Ruiseñor which can occasionally be heard over winter now too. Woodland birds are found in the wooded area to the south of the reserve.
