Descripción
The River Monnow is a scenic area noted for blossoming fruit orchards in spring. On warm mornings up to 50 Cuervo Grande soar the thermals, with Busardo ratonero and maybe a Gavilán Común. On the river there are Garza Real, Garceta Común, Lavandera Cascadeña, Avión Zapador, Vencejo Común, Martín Pescador Común, Mirlo-acuático Europeo and Pato Mandarín. The fruit orchards attract large numbers of wintering Zorzal Real and Zorzal Alirrojo.
