Descripción
A thorough look at RSPB Fen Drayton Lakes will take a day, or more. As well as substantial areas of open water, there's a wide range of habitats that attract a similarly wide range of wildlife. Over 200 bird species have been recorded, including Avetoro Común, Garza Imperial and Fumarel Cariblanco. Many are passage migrants, so it's worth checking sighting reports, but even a casual visit will be rewarded.

Accesso
RSPB Fen Drayton Lakes is halfway between Cambridge and Huntingdon, served by a dedicated busway (Stagecoach route 8) at a request stop. There's a car park, free and open at all times. The postcode is CB24 4RB.
On site, there's a 10 mile (16 km) network of paths, with some suggested routes. The area is former flood plain, therefore level but liable to be seriously muddy. Some, but not all paths are suitable for wheelchairs, with assistance. Dog access is restricted to public footpaths, due to the sensitive nature of some areas.
