Descripción
Ruddon's Point is said to be the best place in Britain to view overwintering Negrón común, Negrón especulado and the rare Negrón Careto together. Also wintering here may be Éider común, Porrón Osculado, Serreta Grande, Somormujo Cuellirrojo, Zampullín Cuellirrojo, all 3 diver species, Correlimos Oscuro and Serreta Mediana.
Alondra Común, Bisbita Costero, Ostrero Euroasiático, Archibebe Común, Chorlitejo Grande and Pardillo Común breed here, plus Piquitureto Común, Jilguero Lúgano and Reyezuelo Sencillo in the pines.
As with many east coast sites, rare migrants such as Curruca Gavilana, Mosquitero Bilistado and Papamoscas Papirrojo may turn up in September.
