Descripción
Soudley Ponds has resident Martín Pescador Común, Lavandera Cascadeña, Pato Mandarín, Zampullín Común and Mito Común. Small birds attend the feeder in the top car park, including Trepador Azul and Pico Picapinos. Roe deer and wild boar are in the area.
A short climb up to Blaize Bailey gives one a panoramic view of the Severn estuary. Here a telescope may reveal soaring raptors or flocks of migrants . The walks marked on the map total three and a half kilometres.

The Soudley Ponds are three miles south of Littledean or Cinderford. Parking is free in the top car park or at the Dean Heritage Centre. Click on a P in the map to get directions.
