Descripción
St Catherine's Point is the southernmost point on the Isle of Wight. Scrub and grassland by sea with cliffs behind. Nesting Cuervo Grande, Halcón Peregrino and Fulmar Boreal on cliffs. It is an area of open grassland & thorn, bramble & gorse scrub with some sheltered sycamore woodland, cattle grazed.

Accesso
Extensive walks, irregular bus service to Niton under-cliff. For directions to a car park click on the P in the map. Walk towards Lighthouse. Footpaths lead to coast or past Knowles Farm. The circular walk shown on the map is about 3 km long.

Great Skua, Arctic Skua, Black Tern, Common Scoter, Balearic Shearwater, Pied Flycatcher, Serin. Yellow-browed Warbler annual in autumn, good numbers of regular UK migrants in both Spring & Autumn; easterly winds in Spring are best for seawatching.
Rarities include; Wallcreeper, Black Stork, Red-rumped Swallow, Bee-eater, Hoopoe, Tawny Pipit, Pectoral Sandpiper & Great Shearwater amongst others..
