Descripción
Stithians Reservoir has an enviable record of sightings of 'ultra' rarities, including many Nearctic wader species. It has waterside paths, that can get very muddy during periods of prolonged rain, the area is at quite high altitude and has a very open landscape that can get very windy at times. There are three bird hides, two to the South and one to the North.

Autumn migration is better for waders especially after prolonged periods without rain that ensures good muddy edges. This is one of the best sites in Cornwall for wintering Wild Swans and Grey Geese. BE AWARE this reservoir has boating and fishing.
