Tatton Park has park and farmland with ancient woodland and two large meres (lakes). The biggest lake is 1 km long. In Spring and Summer this is a good area for migrants - Hirundines, terns and raptors. Nesting species are Mosquitero Silbador, Pico Menor, Trepador Azul, Cuervo Grande, Alcotán Europeo, Somormujo Lavanco and Zampullín Común. Winter visitors are Zampullín Cuellinegro, Silbón Europeo, Garceta Grande, Garceta Común, Tarabilla común, Porrón Osculado, Cerceta Común, Porrón Europeo and Ánade friso.
