Descripción
Tentsmuir Forest National Nature Reserve provides a variety of wildlife. The area has woods, mud and sand estuary, heath and sand dunes. Grey seals float effortlessly on their backs upriver on a rising tide, only their rounded noses showing above water. In September/October waders are varied (up to 13 species though not numerous). Pato Havelda, Porrón Bastardo, Éider común, Porrón Osculado and Negrón común offshore. Chocha Perdiz, Reyezuelo Sencillo and Piquitureto Común in the woods. Tarabilla común, Tarabilla Norteña, Collalba Gris and Bisbita Pratense on the dunes.
