Descripción
The Oa Peninsula features a rocky coastline where Chova Piquirroja breed and are protected. More than 110 other species have been seen here. Águila Real and Aguilucho pálido are frequent. Ánsar careto and Barnacla Cariblanca (20,000 or more) graze the farm fields in winter. Up to 14 species of duck may be seen here, either offshore or in the freshwater lochs. Smaller birds include Pardillo Piquigualdo, Alondra Común and occasional Guión de Codornices, mostly on migration.
Mammals to see here include otter, red squirrel, red deer, dolphins, porpoises and seals. Harmless, plankton-eating basking sharks are a possibility in summer.
