Descripción
The Ythan Estuary is the tidal component of the Ythan River, emptying into the North Sea 19 kilometres north of Aberdeen. Besides the tidal channel there are interfaces to the upland dunes including mudflats, sand beaches and shingle flats. Possibility to see seals fishing from very close and to observe large groups of Éider común feeding in the watercourse. Also from very close you can see Charrán ártico, Serreta Grande and rarities sometimes, most notably a drake Éider real since 2014 in the middle of the Éider común!
