Descripción

Powell Lake is a hotspot for numerous species though it is heavily invaded by phragmites so visibility can be difficult. Species can range from Common Merganser, to many duck species including Cinnamon Teal, Mallard, Ring-necked Duck and Gadwall and often Canada Goose. In the summer Evening Grosbeak and Sandhill Crane can often be seen here and a pair of resident Belted Kingfisher are often visible.
