The Avant-port is a port zone that includes several basins along the river Rhine. It is easy to see the birds from the riverbank. Many kyhmyjoutsen and nokikana with some sinisorsa and merimetso year-round, and tukkasotka and naurulokki in winter. During a cold winter, isokoskelo is sometimes seen.
