Ballastière de Bischheim is a former gravel and sand extraction site that is transformed into a natural reserve and recreational area. In winter, it is easy to observe many tukkasotka and punasotka. There are also many naurulokki and etelänharmaalokki. In summer, there are only kyhmyjoutsen, nokikana and silkkiuikku and a few pikku-uikku.

Ballastière de Bischheim is a former gravel and sand extraction site located in Bischheim near Strasbourg. It's quite far from the tram stop, so it's better to take the car or a bicycle. There's a large parking lot. Press P on the map for directions to the parking lot. The circular walk around the lake is approximately 2 km.
