Gravière Vogelau is a former gravel pit, now transformed into a landscape featuring ponds and wetlands. Many merimetso and sinisorsa are seen throughout the year, often with kanadanhanhi and some merihanhi. In winter, tukkasotka and harmaasorsa are common, and sometimes haapana and even jouhisorsa are also seen.

Gravière Vogelau is located 8 km north of Strasbourg. From Strasbourg, take the road heading north towards Schiltigheim. You can park along the streets. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot. Best to explore the area on foot.
