Description
At Bärenbrücker Teiche you can see especially in winter many ducks like Lapasorsa, haapana, sinisorsa, jouhisorsa, tavi, punapäänarsku, ruskosotka, tukkasotka and lapasotka. And you can also find several species of geese like merihanhi, tundrahanhi, tundrametsähanhi and at the narrow fields you can see tundrametsähanhi, punakaulahanhi and valkoposkihanhi. In winter you can also find some laulujoutsen, pikkujoutsen and all year around many kyhmyjoutsen.
In spring and autumn many limicoles visit Bärenbrücker Teiche. Waders such as avosetti, tundrakurmitsa, töyhtöhyyppä, tylli, pikkutylli, punakuiri, isosirri, suokukko, kuovisirri, lapinsirri, suosirri, pikkusirri and taivaanvuohi.

Access
Bärenbrücker Teiche is located 15 km northeast of the city of Cottbus and immediately north of the village of Bärenbrück. From Dorfstraße you can drive with car or bike to a little road between Unterteich and Streckteich. At the middle of the little road is a little spot were you can parc your car. Click on the P in the map for directions to the parking spot. From there another little path leads to the Unterteich where most birds can be observed.
