Description
Kibbutz Kfar Ruppin is an agricultural community specialising in fish farming and irrigated crops. It is at the north end of the Jordan valley, a pinch point for migration between Africa and Europe. Access
Location is south east of Beit Shean, close to the Jordanian border. The area has an observation platform, and a birdwatching centre. In summer, avoid the midday heat (45 centigrade), and carry plenty of drinking water. The route on the map is about 6 km.
