Description

The main interest of Riserva Naturale Regionale Adelasia concerns the forest species associated with mature broadleaved woodland. Within the area, the following species are in fact common and readily observable: palokärki, pikkutikka, lehtopöllö, pähkinänakkeli, etelänpuukiipijä.

Italiano: Area protetta di interesse botanico e faunistico, nonché di rilevanza storica (battaglie napoleoniche). L'habitat più importante è la faggeta. L'interesse principale riguarda le specie forestali associate ai boschi maturi di latifoglie. All'interno dell'area, queste specie sono infatti comuni e facilmente osservabili: palokärki, pikkutikka, lehtopöllö, pähkinänakkeli, etelänpuukiipijä.

Access

Riserva Naturale Regionale Adelasia is accessible by private car, from the the Savona–Turin motorway (exit Altare) and proceeding directly to the starting points of the hiking trails. Press P on the map for directions. The circular route shown on the map is about 4 km, the straight walk is about 3 km one way.
