Description
The proximity to the Ulcinj salina and exit to the Adriatic sea makes the island Ada Bojana a great migration route for birds. Large flocks of heinätavi, Lapasorsa, haapana, pikkulokki, mustanmerenlokki fly over the island on migration. It is wintering site for great numbers of kaakkuri and riuttatiira, but kuikka, Välimerenliitäjä and pilkkasiipi too. During breeding season pronssi-iibis and kapustahaikara feed in the marshes.

Access
Ada Bojana can be accessed by car, but if you want to visit whole beach and other parts of island you need to go by foot. Click on a P in the map for directions to a parking spot.
