The entire Tràs-os-Montes region is a beautiful, undiscovered area teeming with birds. For example around the village of Loivos where you can find birds such as harjalintu, isohaarahaukka, haarahaukka, iberiankeisarikotka, hanhikorppikotka, punapyy, ruostepääsky, turturikyyhky, Kuhankeittäjä and a large colony of mehiläissyöjä.
