Lake Purcelu and the Sireasa bird colony is one of the most important birdwatching areas in the Danube Delta. Without entering the bird colony, you can sail on the Trofilca canal, then the Cotete lake and observe hundreds of bird species. Lake Purcelu and the Sireasa bird colony are located in the Danube Delta near the town of Tulcea. You can reach the area only by boat. There are several providers of boat trips.
