Description
Mauensee is a beautiful lake, complete with a little island boasting it’s own castle. There’s a trail leading around the lake (3,3 km). It's a beautiful walk very close to Sursee. kattohaikara, harmaahaikara are breeding birds here. During migration anything is possible.
Among the birds you can see in winter are Lapasorsa, telkkä and isokoskelo.
