Al Qudra Desert

Dubai  >  United Arab Emirates

Remarkable area offering a variety of species throughout the year. Summer months are brutal. To fully explore the area you will need a 4x4 and a guide.

Description

The Al Qudra Desert is a stunning desert area known for its man-made lakes, wildlife, and scenic beauty. Great area to find desert species like aavikkojuoksija, Black-crowned Sparrow-Lark and aavikkotasku. The lakes are home to many other bird species, including flamingo, pronssi-iibis, afrikanhanhi, Lapasorsa and many other birds.

Access

Al Qudra Desert is located about 30–40 minutes from the heart of Dubai. The area can be explored with a regular car, however to get the target species list you might have, I recommend a guide with a 4x4.
