Description
The highest ground of Beinn Eighe National Nature Reserve has kiiruna, maakotka, keräkurmitsa, Riekko, teeri, pulmunen and sepelrastas. Access
The reserve is near Kinlochewe, 88 km (55 miles) west of Inverness on the A482, and 160 km (100 miles) north of Fort William. The route marked to Beinn Eighe summit is 8 km (5 miles) each way. Wear appropriate boots and clothing, carry water, food and charged mobile phone, check weather forecast before departure.
