Description
Blakeney Point is a National Nature Reserve and AONB. Thriving nesting site for kalatiira, lapintiira, riuttatiira and pikkutiira. Also naurulokki and occasional mustanmerenlokki. Common and grey seals breed. Winter wildfowl such as haahka, mustalintu and lyhytnokkahanhi. And rare passage autumn migrants such as isolepinkäinen, Isokirvinen, taigauunilintu and kirjokerttu. ruokokerttunen and rytikerttunen in the reed beds.

Access
Parking at Cley for those attempting the long difficult walk on shifting shingle to the point. NB the Visitor Centre is currently closed. Park at Morton Quay or Blakeney Quay for boat trips. Check tide times as the car park can get flooded, also boats only run 4 hours either side of high tide. See the link to the tides table below.
