Description
Brandon Marsh has 8 bird hides situated around the reserve, overlooking pools hosting flocks of haapana, tavi and Lapasorsa in winter, amongst smaller numbers of telkkä. Scrapes host passage waders in spring and autumn, with breeding punajalkaviklo, meriharakka and pikkutylli in summer. Other notable breeding species include good numbers of rytikerttunen, ruokokerttunen and silkkikerttunen, käki and Luhtakana. nuolihaukka are everpresent throughout summer and into autumn. During the winter Brandon is often host to a Caspian Gull which winters amongst the gulls on East Marsh, with a few Yellow-legged Gulls mixed in too. Notable rarities over the last few years have included jänkäsirriäinen and palsasirri, isovesipääsky, käenpiika and punapäälepinkäinen.

Located off Brandon lane, best access is by driving but it is possible to cycle or walk from nearby Brandon village or Binley. Once parked, explore the reserve on foot.
