Description

The Charminster and Dorchester Water Meadows are extensive post medieval water meadows along the River Frome. Flat open grass meadows with plenty of water and mud when water level has receded. Best to visit from mid November to March when water levels are high and receding. Mostly water birds, waders, water fowl, gulls, etc.
