Description
Located 800 feet up and three quarters of a mile from the nearest road, Edgehills is surrounded by oak and pine woodland. It contains flowers such as brooklime, gorse, figwort, ladys mantle, heath bedstraw, tormentil and lousewort. The pond attracts dragonflies and amphibians, hence nuolihaukka is a possibility. Look out for lehtokurppa and kehrääjä on late spring evenings. Also pähkinänakkeli, puukiipijä, mustapäätasku, sirittäjä, woodpeckers and keltasirkku.
