On the 4 ha Big Pool reserve there are pajusirkku, rytikerttunen, puukiipijä, virtavästäräkki, harmaasieppo, vihervarpunen and Luhtakana. Sand lizards, natterjack toads, pyramid orchids, sea holly, sea purslane and other wildflowers can be found in the dunes.
