Description
Livermere Lake is a stocked fishing and shooting lake 6 miles north of Bury St Edmunds. The lake is mud-fringed, open and productive for waders, gulls, ducks, etc. Among the birds you can expect are ristisorsa, Lapasorsa, punasotka, tukkasotka, pikku-uikku, meriharakka, töyhtöhyyppä, punajalkaviklo, isohaarahaukka, kiuru, pajusirkku, pensaskerttu, hernekerttu, selkälokki, merilokki and punapyy.

Livermere Lake is located 6 miles north of Bury St Edmunds. You can park in the village of Great Livermere and explore the area on foot from there.
