The area around Llanarmon DC is predominantly consisting of managed upland moor and shooting estate with sheep farming. Wonderful landscape with peace and solitude in abundance. Great for seeing isohaarahaukka and occasional sightings of sinisuohaukka and nuolihaukka. In early summer you can observe käki ( usually heard rather than seen) and some kuovi pairs on the tops. koskikara along the local streams. harmaasieppo nests locally.
