Description
Pembrey Country Park and Beach is set against the backdrop of the Gower Peninsula and overlooking the coastal scenery of Carmarthen Bay. The area has a long wide sandy beach with forest to the west, dunes and tidal mudflats to the east, and a centre for cycling, riding, golf, dry ski, industrial archaeology and camping/caravan.
This is a significant wintering area for raptors and waders, with divers, scoters, skuas and grebes offshore.
