Description
In Winter, hunting ruskosuohaukka over the reeds is a common sight, along with waterfowl on the pools, tornipöllö hunting over the grassy areas, some increasingly spectacular murmaerations of kottarainen and with the chance of viiksitimali. Year round there are a number of way marked trails to follow through the reserve. Summer brings nuolihaukka and silkkikerttunen which can occasionally be heard over winter now too. Woodland birds are found in the wooded area to the south of the reserve.
