You can combine this with a walk through the town and observe the many Hirondelle rustique and Martinet noir. There is a fenced-off section, accessible by payment, and an open section.

Etang de la Ville is located directly south of Aigues Mortes. There is ample parking (paid). Press P on the map for directions to a parking lot. The circular walk shown on the map is approximately 2 km.
Preferably visit outside the peak season due to crowds. Aigues Mortes is a tourist town.
