Oasi Lipu Soglitelle is a semi-natural wetland covering 103 hectares, consisting of a series of artificial ponds, mostly brackish, separated by a network of irrigation canals and fields, along which grow phragmite reeds and glasswort meadows. 199 bird species have been recorded, including Avocette élégante, and species such as Flamant rose and Tadorne de Belon that regularly winter here. The site is important for species such as the Bruant des roseaux, Rousserolle effarvatte, and Gorgebleue à miroir. Among the main species present are the Sarcelle d'hiver, Échasse blanche, Lusciniole à moustaches, Vanneau huppé, Glaréole à collier and Pluvier doré.

Italiano: L’Oasi è una zona umida seminaturale estesa per 103 ettari in una serie di stagni artificiali, prevalentemente salmastri, divisi dal reticolo di canali irrigui e campi, lungo i quali si sviluppano canneti di fragmite e praterie di salicornia. Sono state censite 199 specie di uccelli, e si registrano nidificazioni di Avocetta e specie come Fenicottero e Volpoca svernano regolarmente. Il sito è rilevante per specie come Migliarino di palude, Cannaiola comune e Pettazzurro. Tra le principali specie presenti ci sono: Alzavola, Cavaliere d'Italia, Forapagle Castagnolo, Pavoncella, Pernice di mare e Piviere dorato.

Oasi Lipu Soglitelle is located 30 km northwest of Naples near Pineta Mare. The area can be visited year-round on weekends by contacting the LIPU officials (oasi.soglitelle@lipu.it, 320 6410948). There are observatories (some currently under maintenance) and walkways along the trails. Parking is available at the entrance (but limited), or along the access roads. Bird watching takes place at a distance, so a telescope is useful. If you plan to take photographs and therefore require a more suitable visit, please let the LIPU volunteers know.

Italiano: Si può visitare l'oasi durante tutto l'anno nei weekend contattando i responsabili della Lipu (vedi link in basso). Lungo i sentieri si trovano dei capanni (alcuni attualmente in manutenzione) e delle passerelle con schermatura. Si può parcheggiare all'ingresso ma i posti sono limitati, o lungo le strade di accesso. Le osservazioni degli uccelli avviene a una certa distanza, quindi un cannocchiale può essere comodo. Nel caso si voglia fare fotografia e si ha bisogno quindi di una visita più idonea, farlo presente ai volontari Lipu.
