With its extensive reedbeds and a modest waters depth, Oasis la Valle is an important site located in a strategic position along the migratory routes from Europe to Africa and offers to many species an ideal place for resting and breeding. Every season of the year is interesting. In winter thousands of water birds arrive from northern Europe for wintering like Fuligule milouin, Canard siffleur and Fuligule nyroca. In spring the first african migrants arrive for nesting here during the summer, amongs these: Héron pourpré, Crabier chevelu, Bihoreau gris, Héron garde-boeufs and Blongios nain. In autumn, in the evening, the reedbeds are populated by Étourneau sansonnet and swallows ready for the migration. Also Balbuzard pêcheur and Martin-pêcheur d'Europe can be observed.

Italiano: Con una superficie di quasi 1000 ettari, questa è una zona umida di grande interesse e importanza ornitologica. Qui sono state avvistate 202 diverse specie di uccelli. Con i suoi estesi canneti e una modesta profondità delle acque, l'Oasi La Valle è un sito importante situato in una posizione strategica lungo le rotte migratorie dall'Europa all'Africa, e offre a molte specie un luogo ideale per la sosta e la riproduzione. Ogni stagione dell'anno è interessante. In inverno, migliaia di uccelli acquatici arrivano dal Nord Europa per svernare.

Opening hours: from June to September: 9 a.m.- 1p.m. / 4- 8 p.m. (Opened every day). From October to May: 9 a.m.- 1p.m. / 3p.m.- 6 p.m. (close on Monday). The “La Valle oasi” is closed all monday from October to May and 1 January, 6 January, Easter, 1 November, 24 December (afternoon), 25 December, 26 December, 31 December (afternoon). A guided tour shows you the variety of birds. Dedicated bird experts check every day which birds are staying at that moment.

Orari di apertura: da giugno a settembre: 9:00-13:00 / 16:00-20:00 (aperto tutti i giorni). Da ottobre a maggio: 9:00-13:00 / 15:00-18:00 (chiuso il lunedì). L’Oasi La Valle è chiusa tutti i lunedì da ottobre a maggio e nei giorni: 1° gennaio, 6 gennaio, Pasqua, 1° novembre, 24 dicembre (pomeriggio), 25 dicembre, 26 dicembre, 31 dicembre (pomeriggio). Una visita guidata vi mostrerà la varietà di uccelli presenti. Esperti ornitologi monitorano ogni giorno quali specie sostano nell'area in quel momento.
