The Rumoirtschorren is an area of salt marshes outside the dikes on the north side of Sint Philipsland in Zeeland, part of the Oosterschelde estuary. The area is important for birds, especially wading birds and geese that forage here during migration and winter. Birds such as Pluvier argenté, Barge rousse, Tournepierre à collier, Aigrette garzette and Bernache cravant are often observed. Birds of prey like Busard des roseaux hunt in the area. Because the Rumoirtschorren are part of the Oosterschelde, you will find many different bird species here.

Nederlands: De Rumoirtschorren is een buitendijks schorrengebied aan de noordkant van Sint Philipsland in Zeeland, onderdeel van het Oosterschelde-estuarium. Het gebied is belangrijk voor vogels, vooral voor steltlopers en ganzen die hier foerageren tijdens de trek en in de winter. Soorten zoals Pluvier argenté, Barge rousse, Tournepierre à collier, Aigrette garzette en Bernache cravant worden er vaak gezien. Ook roofvogels zoals Busard des roseaux jagen er. Omdat de Rumoirtschorren deel uit maken van de Oosterschelde vind je hier veel verschillende vogelsoorten.

The Rumoirtschorren are located on the north side of Sint Philipsland in the province of Zeeland. Parking is available in several places along the dike. Press the P on the map for directions. The Eendenkooi Information Centre is located on the inside of the dike.
