Borowa Ponds is a Natura 2000 area. In spring, some ponds are drained. Ducks and waders, among others, gather here in large numbers. You can spot Canard siffleur , Fuligule morillon , Garrot à oeil d'or , Canard chipeau , Canard souchet , Sarcelle d'hiver and Sarcelle d'été among others. Vanneau huppé , Petit Gravelot , Chevalier culblanc , Chevalier aboyeur , Bergeronnette printanière and Bergeronnette grise , Grèbe huppé , Cygne chanteur, and undoubtedly many other birds. The surrounding forests are full of woodpeckers, passerines, and predators. Geese and Grue cendrée can be seen in the surrounding fields. The site is especially worth visiting in spring.

Obszar Natura 2000 - Stawy w Borowej. Na wiosnę z niektórych stawów spuszczana jest woda. Gromadzą się tu spore ilości m.in. kaczek i siewkowców. Można spotkać m.in. Canard siffleur , Fuligule morillon , Garrot à oeil d'or , Canard chipeau , Canard souchet , Sarcelle d'hiver czy Sarcelle d'été. Do tego Vanneau huppé , Petit Gravelot , Chevalier culblanc , Chevalier aboyeur , Bergeronnette grise i Bergeronnette printanière , Grèbe huppé , Cygne chanteur , a ponadto z pewnością sporo innych ptaków. Dookoła lasy pełne dzięciołów, wróblowatych i drapieżników . Na okolicznych polach gęsi i Grue cendrée. Miejsce szczególnie warte odwiedzenia wiosną.

The Borowa Ponds are easy to reach from Wrocław by car, bike, or even train, as the ponds are located directly next to the Borowa Oleśnicka station (1), about a 10-15-minute walk. Parking is available right next to the ponds. Press P on the map for directions. Despite historical signs prohibiting entry, in practice the area is easily visited by numerous walkers and cyclists, primarily local residents. A walk around the ponds takes anywhere from an hour to several hours.

Polski: Łatwo dojechać z Wrocławia samochodem, rowerem, a nawet pociągiem, bo stawy znajdują się w bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie stacji Borowa Oleśnicka (ok. 10-15 minut spacerem). Zaparkować można przy samych stawach. Pomimo historycznych tabliczek zakazujących wstępu, w praktyce miejsce jest bez problemu licznie odwiedzane przez spacerowiczów i rowerzystów, głównie okolicznych mieszkańców. Spacer dookoła stawów zajmuje od godziny po kilka godzin.
