In early spring, the area may be flooded or marshy in places. This is the best time to visit this site. During the spring migration period, the site attracts many migratory species.

Dolina Kanału Mosińskiego is located about 40 km southwest of Poznan. The observation site is somewhat remote from larger towns. You can get there by local bus, but the easiest way to explore the area is by car. There are no designated parking lots on site. It's best to park on the roadside, near the main road exits. Press p on the map for directions.
