Boticas Nature Park is a well-maintained area with multiple bird species well-adapted to human presence. The park is crossed by the Beça River, which features a vast riparian forest, within an area that, despite its natural evolution, required restoration, with regeneration of the natural vegetation cover, especially oak groves and shrub/scrubland formations. The area is preserved, guaranteeing its natural and landscape value, with special care in protecting habitats of enormous natural value (flora, fauna and fungi).

O Parque é atravessado pelo rio Beça, que apresenta uma vasta mata ripícola, entre uma área que, apesar da sua evolução natural, necessitou de uma recuperação, com regeneração do coberto vegetal natural, sobretudo carvalhais e das formações arbustivas/matos. A área encontra-se preservada, garantindo o seu valor natural e paisagístico, com especial cuidado na proteção dos habitats com enorme valor natural (florísticos, faunísticos e fungos).

Boticas Nature Park is located near the village of Carreira da Lebre, west of the town of Boticas, in Vila Real. To access the park and parking area, use the regional road R311. Access begins on the A7, exiting towards Ribeira de Pena via the N312. Follow this road until you reach the village of Carreira de Lebre (landmark: Hotel Rio Beça, at the roundabout). At the roundabout, take the third exit. There are several signs.

Português: O parque situa-se perto da aldeia de Carreira da Lebre, a oeste da vila de Boticas, em Vila Real. Para aceder ao parque e parque de estacionamento, utilize a estrada regional R311. O acesso inicia-se na A7, saíndo para Ribeira de Pena pela N312. Percorre-se essa estrada até alcançar a aldeia de Carreira de Lebre (ponto de referência: Hotel Rio Beça, na rotunda). Na rotunda, seguir pela terceira saída. Há várias placas de sinalização.
