Balıkdamı is a river bed site. A water regulation system on the river makes this area like a flooded land which is under control. This place is a suitable area for birds in the dry landscape of Central Anatolia . So, you can see wetland birds and steppe birds in this habitat complex. For example Aigle impérial, Ganga unibande, Oedicnème criard, Nette rousse, Flamant rose, Oie cendrée, Tadorne casarca, Héron garde-boeufs and Glaréole à collier.
