The Botanic Park is close to city center of Eskisehir and therefore easy to reach via public transport. The Botanic Park and its surroundings are a very good place for birding that is full of surprising bird species. Waterfowl, egrets, passerines and raptors are all possible groups to observe. Some of the birds you can expect are Grèbe castagneux, Grèbe à cou noir, Guifette moustac, Bouscarle de Cetti, Chevalier guignette, Crabier chevelu, Martin-pêcheur d'Europe, Gros-bec casse-noyaux, Black Vulture, Vautour percnoptère, Aigle impérial, Huppe fasciée, Guêpier d'Europe and Bruant mélanocéphale.
