Description
Lake Kovada National Park has forests and wetland habitats. The center of the park is the 6–7 meters deep Kovada Gölü (Lake Kovada) with an area of 790 hectares and 20.6 km circumference. You can see of both wetland and forest bird species here. Almost 170 species of birds live in the park year-round or seasonally. Among the birds that can be seen are Pygargue à queue blanche, Pouillot de Bonelli, Butor étoilé, Fuligule nyroca. Even Érismature à tête blanche can be seen here.

It is easy to go there by car. Public transport is not a good choice to reach the area. You can park in several spots along the wetland area. Click on a P in the map for directions or coordinates. There are walking trails around the lake.
