Description
Burradon Country Park is a pleasant urban fringe site, fairly quiet, with a small lake, grassland and young trees (mostly self-sown), good for scrubland and grassland birds. The highest point offers clear viewing for visible migration. Nearby, a field with a low-lying area can develop a flash pool after particularly wet winters, giving potential for spring wader passage when suitable.
