Description

Drumpellier Country Park offers a diverse mix of habitats, including woodlands, wetlands, open water, and grasslands, making it a fantastic birdwatching spot year-round. The park’s lochs and marshes attract Cygne tuberculé, Grèbe castagneux, Foulque macroule and Fuligule morillon, while reedbeds provide a home for Phragmite des joncs and Bruant des roseaux in spring and summer. Grèbe huppé can often be seen performing their courtship displays.

Woodlands around the park are alive with Pic épeiche, Grimpereau des bois, and Mésange à longue queue. In winter, flocks of Grive mauvis and Grive litorne arrive, while the occasional Buse variable or Épervier d'Europe can be spotted overhead.

With scenic trails and a variety of bird species, Drumpellier is a perfect spot for both beginners and experienced birdwatchers.
