The area around Llanarmon DC is predominantly consisting of managed upland moor and shooting estate with sheep farming. Wonderful landscape with peace and solitude in abundance. Great for seeing Milan royal and occasional sightings of Busard Saint-Martin and Faucon hobereau. In early summer you can observe Coucou gris ( usually heard rather than seen) and some Courlis cendré pairs on the tops. Cincle plongeur along the local streams. Gobemouche gris nests locally.
